Risk Disclosure & Legal Disclaimer
Last updated: March 6, 2026
This page contains important legal disclosures regarding the use of MomentumTrading.ai. Please read this entire document carefully before using our services. By accessing or using MomentumTrading.ai, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the disclosures and limitations described herein.
Critical Risk Warning
Trading and investing in securities involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You could lose some or all of your invested capital. Do not invest money you cannot afford to lose.
Small-cap and low-float stocks — the primary focus of MomentumTrading.ai — are among the most volatile and risky securities available. These stocks can lose 50% or more of their value in a single trading session, just as they can gain. The potential for large gains described on our website is accompanied by an equally large potential for catastrophic losses.
Past performance is not indicative of future results. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those discussed on this website. The information provided by MomentumTrading.ai is for informational and educational purposes only and should not be construed as investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

1. Not Investment Advice
MomentumTrading.ai ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI-powered market analysis tools for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing contained on this website, in our alerts, in our dashboard, or delivered through any aspect of our services constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, tax advice, or any other type of professional advice.
MomentumTrading.ai is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), or any state or international securities regulatory authority. We do not hold ourselves out as such and do not provide personalized investment recommendations of any kind.
The information, alerts, signals, and analysis provided through the Service are general in nature and are not tailored to the investment needs, financial situation, or risk tolerance of any specific individual. You should not make any investment decision based solely on information provided by MomentumTrading.ai. All trading decisions are made at your own risk and are your sole responsibility.
2. No Fiduciary Relationship
Use of the Service does not create a fiduciary relationship, an advisory relationship, an employer-employee relationship, or any other professional relationship between you and MomentumTrading.ai. We owe no fiduciary duty to any user of the Service. You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits and risks associated with any investment decision you make.
No communication from MomentumTrading.ai — whether through the website, email, alerts, social media, or any other channel — should be interpreted as a personal recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.
3. General Risk Disclosure
Trading securities — including stocks, options, and other financial instruments — involves significant risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Before deciding to trade, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk tolerance. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment. Therefore, you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose.
Key Risks Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Market Risk: Securities prices can be extremely volatile and may decline rapidly, resulting in significant or total losses. Market conditions can change without warning.
- Liquidity Risk: Small-cap and micro-cap securities may have limited trading volume, making it difficult or impossible to execute trades at desired prices. You may be unable to exit a position when you want to.
- Concentration Risk: Focusing on a single sector or market segment (such as small-cap momentum stocks) increases your exposure to sector-specific downturns.
- Leverage Risk: Use of margin or leveraged products can amplify both gains and losses, potentially resulting in losses exceeding your initial investment.
- Gap Risk: Stock prices can "gap" — opening significantly higher or lower than the previous close — making stop-loss orders ineffective and resulting in larger-than- expected losses.
- Halt Risk: Trading halts can be imposed by exchanges at any time, preventing you from exiting a position. When trading resumes, the price may be substantially different.
- Technology Risk: System failures, connectivity issues, software bugs, or delays may prevent timely execution of trades.
- Information Risk: Data from social media, news, and other sources may be inaccurate, misleading, manipulated, or outdated.
- Counterparty Risk: Your broker or other intermediaries may fail to execute orders properly or may experience financial difficulties.
- Regulatory Risk: Changes in laws, regulations, or exchange rules may adversely affect your ability to trade or the value of your investments.
4. Small-Cap & Low-Float Specific Risk Factors
MomentumTrading.ai primarily focuses on small-cap and low-float stocks. These securities carry additional and heightened risks beyond those associated with larger, more established companies. Users should be aware of the following specific risk factors:
4.1 Extreme Volatility
Small-cap and low-float stocks can experience extreme price swings. It is not uncommon for these stocks to gain or lose 50%, 100%, or more of their value in a single trading session. While our marketing materials reference the potential for large percentage gains, it is equally important to understand that losses of the same magnitude are just as possible and occur regularly. A stock that can rise 200% in a day can also fall 80% or more.
4.2 Limited Liquidity
Low-float stocks have a limited number of shares available for trading. While this can contribute to rapid price increases, it also means that when sentiment reverses, there may be few or no buyers available at your desired exit price. You may be forced to sell at a significantly lower price than expected, or you may be unable to sell at all during periods of extreme selling pressure.
4.3 Manipulation Risk
Small-cap and low-float stocks are disproportionately targeted by market manipulation schemes, including "pump and dump" operations. In these schemes, promoters artificially inflate a stock's price through misleading statements, then sell their shares at the inflated price, causing the stock to crash. Even sophisticated AI analysis may not always detect manipulation in real time.
4.4 Limited Information
Many small-cap companies have limited public information available, may not be required to file reports with the SEC, and may have less analyst coverage. This makes it more difficult to conduct thorough due diligence and increases the risk of investing based on incomplete or inaccurate information.
4.5 Trading Halts
Volatile small-cap stocks are frequently subject to trading halts imposed by exchanges (such as LULD halts). During a halt, you cannot buy or sell the stock. When trading resumes, the price may be substantially higher or lower than the pre-halt price, and stop-loss orders may not execute at your intended price.
4.6 Dilution Risk
Many small-cap companies issue additional shares through secondary offerings, convertible notes, or warrants. This dilution can significantly reduce the value of existing shares, sometimes causing sudden and severe price declines.
4.7 Delisting Risk
Small-cap stocks may fail to meet exchange listing requirements and be delisted, which can make shares extremely difficult to sell and may result in a near-total loss of investment.
5. Limitations of AI-Generated Signals & Analysis
MomentumTrading.ai uses artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to analyze market data and generate trading signals. While we strive to provide useful analysis, users must understand the following inherent limitations:
5.1 AI Is Not Infallible
Our AI models are sophisticated but imperfect. They can and do produce incorrect, misleading, or poorly timed signals. No AI system can predict the future with certainty. Market conditions are influenced by countless variables — many of which are unpredictable — including geopolitical events, regulatory changes, natural disasters, and human behavior.
5.2 Training Data Limitations
Our AI models are trained on historical data and patterns. Past market behavior does not guarantee future market behavior. Market regimes change, and patterns that were profitable in the past may become unprofitable or even harmful in the future. The AI may not adapt quickly enough to sudden changes in market conditions.
5.3 Bias and Overfitting
AI models may contain biases inherited from their training data or may be "overfit" to historical patterns that do not repeat. This can result in signals that appear confident but are based on spurious correlations rather than genuine predictive factors.
5.4 Latency and Timing
There is always a delay between when market conditions change, when our AI processes the data, and when you receive and act on an alert. In fast-moving small-cap stocks, even small delays can mean the difference between a profitable entry and a significant loss. By the time you see an alert, the optimal entry point may have already passed.
5.5 No Guarantee of Signal Quality
We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or profitability of any signal generated by our AI. The number of signals generated per day, the ratio of BUY to NO TRADE signals, and the quality of those signals can vary significantly based on market conditions. There may be periods where the AI generates few or no useful signals, or where a majority of signals result in losses.
5.6 Black Box Risk
While we describe the general factors our AI considers (catalysts, volume, chart patterns, float, etc.), the specific weighting and interaction of these factors within the model is complex. Users may not fully understand why a particular signal was generated, making it difficult to independently verify the AI's reasoning.
6. BUY & NO TRADE Signal Clarification
Important: The terms "BUY" and "NO TRADE" as used by MomentumTrading.ai are AI-generated analytical labels, not recommendations or instructions to purchase or avoid any security.
- A "BUY" signal indicates that the AI's analysis of multiple factors (catalyst, volume, chart pattern, float, risk/reward) has resulted in a positive assessment of the setup. It does not mean you should buy the stock. It is one data point among many that you should consider in your own independent analysis.
- A "NO TRADE" signal indicates that the AI has identified factors that, in its assessment, make the setup less favorable. It does not mean the stock will not go up, nor does it constitute advice to avoid the stock.
- The entry prices, stop-loss levels, and price targets provided alongside signals are AI-calculated reference points based on technical analysis, not guaranteed prices. Actual execution prices will vary, and these levels should not be the sole basis for any trading decision.
- You are solely responsible for all trading decisions. MomentumTrading.ai provides analysis tools; it does not make trading decisions for you and accepts no responsibility for trades you choose to make.
7. Hypothetical & Simulated Performance Disclaimer
HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW.
NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM.
ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS.
Any examples, case studies, or illustrations presented on the MomentumTrading.ai website — including but not limited to the PRSO alert walkthrough, the ROI calculator, the "Before & After" comparison, and any percentage gain figures — are hypothetical examples created for illustrative purposes only. They do not represent actual trades, actual results, or actual performance of the MomentumTrading.ai service.
These examples were selected or constructed to demonstrate how the AI analysis process works, not to represent typical or expected results. Actual results will vary significantly. Many trades — including trades based on AI signals — result in losses.
8. Earnings & Results Disclaimer
We make no guarantees regarding the level of success you may experience using our tools and information. There is no guarantee that you will make any money using the techniques, ideas, or information provided through the Service. There is no guarantee that you will not lose money.
Examples, illustrations, and hypothetical scenarios cited on this website are not to be interpreted as a promise or guarantee of earnings or results. Earning potential is entirely dependent on the individual using the Service, their knowledge, experience, risk management, market conditions, and numerous other factors beyond our control.
Any references to specific dollar amounts, percentage returns, or profit figures on this website are hypothetical illustrations only and do not represent actual or expected results. Your results will differ, and you may lose money.
9. ROI Calculator Disclaimer
The "ROI Calculator" or "Hypothetical ROI Illustration" featured on our website is a simplified, hypothetical mathematical illustration only. It is designed to show how subscription costs compare to a single hypothetical trade outcome. It does not represent actual or expected results from using MomentumTrading.ai.
Specific limitations of the ROI Calculator:
- It assumes a 100% gain on a single trade, which is not guaranteed and does not occur on every trade or even most trades.
- It does not account for losing trades, which are a normal and frequent part of trading.
- It does not account for trading commissions, fees, slippage, or taxes.
- It does not account for the emotional and psychological challenges of real trading.
- It presents a best-case scenario for a single trade and should not be extrapolated to represent overall performance.
- The actual frequency and magnitude of profitable trades varies significantly and is not guaranteed.
10. Third-Party Data & Social Media Risks
The Service aggregates and analyzes data from various third-party sources, including but not limited to social media platforms (such as Reddit, StockTwits, Twitter/X, and Discord), financial news outlets, market data providers, SEC filings, and public forums. MomentumTrading.ai does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any third-party information.
Social media data carries particular risks:
- Social media content may be posted by anonymous or pseudonymous users with undisclosed financial interests.
- Posts may be part of coordinated "pump and dump" schemes designed to artificially inflate stock prices.
- Information on social media may be outdated, inaccurate, or deliberately misleading.
- Bots and automated accounts may create artificial impressions of market sentiment.
- The volume of social media mentions does not necessarily correlate with the quality or viability of an investment.
MomentumTrading.ai is not responsible for the content or accuracy of any third-party data. Users should independently verify all information before making any trading decisions.
11. Technology & Service Risks
The Service relies on complex technology infrastructure including servers, APIs, data feeds, AI models, and internet connectivity. Users should be aware of the following technology-related risks:
- Service Interruptions: The Service may experience downtime, outages, or degraded performance due to technical issues, maintenance, or factors beyond our control.
- Data Feed Delays: Market data and news feeds may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.
- Alert Delivery Delays: Alerts may be delayed due to network congestion, server load, or other technical factors. In fast-moving markets, even small delays can be significant.
- Software Bugs: Despite testing, our software may contain errors that affect the accuracy of analysis or the delivery of alerts.
- Third-Party Dependencies: The Service depends on third-party data providers, cloud infrastructure, and other services that may experience their own outages or issues.
We are not responsible for any losses resulting from technical failures, delays, or interruptions in the Service. You should not rely solely on MomentumTrading.ai for time-sensitive trading decisions.
12. Regulatory Compliance
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction, including but not limited to securities laws, tax laws, and anti-money laundering regulations. The Service is not available in jurisdictions where its use would be prohibited by law.
Nothing on this website is intended to constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security in any jurisdiction where such offer or solicitation would be unlawful. The Service is intended for use by residents of the United States and may not comply with the regulatory requirements of other jurisdictions.

MomentumTrading.ai is not a substitute for professional financial advice.
